With January holding the tender title of Human Trafficking Awareness month, we are reminded of two things; one, there are incredible groups of people in this world who come together as a community to provide great awareness for such wicked events, and two, that human trafficking continues to be an ongoing, vile crime. Rejuvenating Women in Omaha is an inspirational group of people who are driven to help heal and bind the emotional wounds of those who have tragically endured human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Not only do they provide support and awareness, they do so with the love and grace of God. They center their mission around Christ, and they let the truth be known of the hope we have in Jesus. While spotlighting Rejuvenating Women, a few of the life-giving services they provide for survivors are: safe housing, trauma based counseling, resources for opportunities, physical, emotional, and spiritual support and care, and total restoration support. It is without question that Rejuvenating Women is among the most God-honoring organizations with their only desire to see lives be healed through radical transformation. At 621 Gifts, we donate a portion of each purchase to Rejuvenating Women. It is our prayer that, one day, Human Trafficking will indeed come to an end by building up confidence in every city to speak up and out about these crimes. A hope that, one day, eyes would not look in the other direction with disbelief, but that they would act on love and courage to help put an end to human trafficking.
